VINTAGE BERGER BELROY ARMY GREEN INDUSTRIAL STEEL AGE STORAGE LOCKER Up for sale is a VINTAGE BERGER BELROY ARMY GREEN INDUSTRIAL STEEL AGE STORAGE LOCKER. The metal name plate clearly reads this is made by Berger Manufacturing out of Canton. Ohio and is the Belroy Product line. Not much can be found on this product line other than some catalogs from the 20s. This cabinet was pulled out of the back room of an old store that closed after several decades if not close to 100 years in Rockford, IL. The locker measures approximately 79”T x 21”D x 41”W. It has some scuffs, scratches, paint spots, dents and surface rust spots throughout as shown in the pictures but this is part of the up and coming industrial look. It is intentionally left as part of the look and not considered damage but instead character. The locker features some nice vintage ... morehandles and it has one shelf with a divider in it. It is marked BIN#1 and there are also some stickers on the inside doors with letters. Someone also attached a couple boards to one side and one has a coat hook. There are some similar size lockers out there but not very many in this color and that have specific company tags on them. Don’t miss out on this fantastic industrial/steel age piece! The great thing about this little guy is that he has a nice metal door on the front of him to keep your things from spilling out if you are on the go with it. It comes with 12 small drawers and one large drawer on the bottom giving it a total of 13 drawers. They slide in and out easily too. It shuts nicely(see images) has a few scratches but no dents. This looked like it could of had a locking system to it but no longer works. Comes with 8 little clear inserts for separating your items in the draws and 8 labels for labeling the outside of them. I cleaned out a 1950s era hardware store and these sat on wooden shelves and contains screws. Bolts, nuts and plumbing fittings. Some have marks and numbers or words painted and some have holes where a sample of the original content was attached so that they would be easy to find. The have a small hole machine cut at the right rear bottom corner. Some have paint wear and scuffing and residue from tape. Great patina. Ideal for storage on shelves for homes, office, restaurant or bar. Heavy. Each weighs between 2 pounds 9 ounces and 2 pounds 13 ounces.
