Stanley Vidmar Tooling Cabinet Lot Of 7 Tool Boxes 9, 10,11 & 12 Drawer Box
Seven(7) used Stanley Vidmar tooling cabinets. Two have nine drawers. One has ten drawers, two have eleven drawers and two have twelve drawers. Four of them are are matching in color, the other three are different shades of green and all are in good shape. There are a lot of dividers in them as well. These came from the tool room of a factory that closed and were in use. They are used so they show signs of wear, scratches, and dents that could be expected from daily use but they are in good useable shape. There is one drawer handle that is missing on one of them and one had a drawer front that is slightly bent and should be easy to straighten and they could use a cleaning. As shown in the pictures, it holds many different items with aluminum spacers for separation. Drawers come out of cabinet for moving. You probably can't see it from the photo but this cabinet has a 3/8" thick steel block welded on the top and bottom. There is a 3/4" hole in theses blocks meant to have a 3/4" rod going through the top and the bottom to secure all of the drawers. I do not have this rod. These originally sold for $2900.00 hundred ... moredollars back in the 80,s. This is built like a brick shit house. This would be a pick up item or I could deliver for a charge, up to a 100 mile radius. This was originally painted factory green. I sanded it all down and as you can see, painted it bright red and gray inside the drawers using many spray cans. Again, this is very well built and would require 3 or 4 people to move it with all of the drawers intact.This item is located near saratoga n. y. The newer ones have lighter steel.
