Unit also has some mild surface rust forming on the bare metal parts. This is a propane powered unit and does not require electricity to operate. We have tested this heater here and the only mechanical flaw we can find is that the pilot light ignitor does not work. This may be a simple fix, but we are not familiar with this type valve.
