You are considering a Greenlee Model 850 PVC Heater. This item is used and is in fair overall condition. Item shows normal wear. Scratches etc from use and handling. Unit also has some mild surface rust forming on the bare metal parts. This is a propane powered unit and does not require electricity to operate. We have tested this heater here and the only mechanical flaw we can find is that the pilot light ignitor does not work. This may be a simple fix, but we are not familiar with this type valve. GreenLee 851 PVC Conduit/Pipe/Tubing Heater 1/2"-4"
We bought this heater new for heating conduit to install in our house. So it only was used of the course of a couple to a few months and should have a lot of life left in it. It take a couple minutes to warm up. As it did when new but then it heats the pvc nicely and turns it into limp cooked spaghetti until the pvc cools back down at which point it becomes rigid again. Retails new on amazon for $761. According to amazon, it is 57.5 x 14 x 13.5 inches and 53 lbs. Shipping: Items usually shipped within 5 working days of cleared payment.
