It would get as good as picture#11 shows but flicker static like picture#12. I tried different tapes that play fine in my personal vcr and it seemed the same. I was thinking that maybe it needs to be cleaned or serviced. The tapes play/rewind/f.forward just fine. Ejects smooth. Sound quality seems fine.
