ITEM DETAILS(Pictures are of the actual item you'll receive. For your consideration, here's a Texas Instruments PHP 2700 cassette tape recorder that was intended for data storage on the vintage TI computers. This unit is in working conditon with a few quirks. The auto-stop function doesn't work and the stop button will have to be pressed manually if a tape reaches the end. The forward wind function still works but doesn't seem as powerful as the rewind function. The machine works perfectly when stationed in place on a desktop. When moved around on the go. The audio will drop in and out. Therefore, this recorder is best suited as a stationary computer data storage device(as it was originally intended) and not as portable audio device. The speaker is good though, and all of the controls are intact and responsive. The battery ... morecompartment is clean and complete with the cover. I just cleaned and demagnetized the heads for best results. Cosmetically, it is evident the unit has been sitting around for a long time and there is dust is some hard to reach crevices. The tone controls are marked in spots where the previous owner had the best results retrieving data. There's also light marks on the chasis and tape window from previous handling- nothing really bad. Antique Egg Tape Measure in Orange Paint w Black Fly Early Painted Metal Version
Here we have a really wonderful early egg shaped sewing tape measure in dark orange to red paint with a black fly pull. We believe t his egg shaped tape measure is an early version as it is made of a steel or iron and has a painted surface. There is some paint chipping on this egg which is mostly contained to the top and there is a scuff with yellow remnants on the side. The pull on this piece is in the form of a fly that is most likely celluloid and it is accompanied by painted legs on the top of the egg. Attached to the black fly pull is a fabric or cloth measure which extends to 49" and it is in nice condition with light fraying on edges. This sewing tape measure has a very nice time aged dark orange surface and the fly is quite realistic. It measures 2 1/2" long. 1 3/4" deep, 2" tall with the fly pull and weighs 1.4 ... moreounces.
