It has(1) sped up the process tremendously, and(2) saved significant $$$ on shipping. I save money because I can accurately state the weight of each listing, for the ebay calculator, then can buy postage labels online. And no waiting for a clerk at the post office, and ebay/ paypal discounts some services! Postal scale by Pelouze. Handles up to 20 pounds. Great for ebay- correct weight when listing. This was manufactured before the Dymo name was added for USA distribution. I have downloaded the manual for this. And will include it on CDR. The downloaded manual is for a newer version(2007 Dymo versus this 2004 item) which is ALMOST identical but has at least one difference- Mine uses one 9-volt battery(fresh one included) instead of six AAs the newer version takes. You can connect this to a computer. Using an RJ11 plug(scale) to Serial Port(computer) It takes a standard cable, but I do NOT have the cable to do this. Alternatively this can be powered by an AC adapter. I will include a non-original 9VDC 500mA adapter that powers it up just fine. Not shown.
