This one is either froze stuck because of something inside spilled and dried up, the bearings are tight, or it was put together wrong, I really don't know- but it has the nicest finish of all 3 that I am listing, an ideal one to disassemble and/or fix. Very hard to find this version with a nice finish, if I didn't have a new old stock one from the 60's, this is the one I would disassemble, clean up and fix or repair or clean. It's a nice self adjusting chuck, but I can't find any brand on it. It looks exactly like a Boley chuck I have, but it doesn't have a brand on it that I can find. Hakko 472 Desoldering Station Tool With Hakko 807 Desoldering Iron
Cosmetically the hakko station is in great condition. However. There are a few small issues with the unit, but it does not affect the functionality of the unit. First the power cords insulation has melted in an area about 2 inches long. Second and lastly, the desoldering iron's head is broken in a corner. When the button is pushed on the desoldering iron a strong motor sounds is produced. The tip of the desoldering tool gets extremely hot.
