This auction is for a used Plato SP-101 Solder Pot. It is used with a top full of hard solder and on the bottom side is evidence of some old solder splash(see last picture) But otherwise the unit is in good working condition. We re-melted the top crucible of solder, it took about 10-15 minutes on Hi-Heatup mode. Unit is rated at 350W and is standard 110VAC. We received this unit in a surplus lot, we do not know the assay of the remaining solder, it may or may not be lead solder! We have a great starting bid and we are including a 30-day warranty on this sale! Overview The Plato SP-101 solder pot is ideal for dip soldering small assemblies. And ... moretinning lead wires and circuit devices. Plato pots feature an adjustable thermostat control with ±11°F accuracy. And internal circuitry that automatically corrects for voltage fluctuations. A heat shield that surrounds the pot makes all parts, except the crucible and dross tray, safe to the touch.
