I received it in a trade but don't need a welder of this size and can't justify keeping it. It is in very good condition with some cosmetic wear but no know functional issues. Thermal Arc DC TIG Starter. This is not a welder. You must have a stick welder(we use a POWCON 300) to have a complete TIG system. This unit will not control the amperage of your welder(we used a foot pedal interfaced to our POWCON) This is a very heavy duty unit. It will control the gas flow for pre- and post- welding flow. Mac Tools DC Tig Welder
This is a Mac tools DC tig/ stick welder. 150amp, this welder retailed for around 1650 brand new which I think was high but it is comparable to the miller maxstar which is around 1100 retail new. It uses a sr17v torch for the tig function and it will include a few different collets and gas lenses to accommodate different thickness materials. A 0.04 in, 1/16, and 3/32 collet will be included along with a 4,5, and 6 gas lens. Argon regulator is included also. I have a few tungsten I will throw in also. Stick clamp is also included and pictured. Welder is small and light, about 15 pounds and has a carrying strap, you could easily throw it in the backseat and take it anywhere. Everything you need as far as the machine is included, all you need is gas and filler to start welding! Some clean welds can be made with this little welder in the right ... morehands! I've also never had the overheat light come on even while welding towards the top of the amperage range with stick or tig, your hands overheat long before the welder will. Weldcraft WP-17 Flexhead tig torch with Lincoln hand controller
Weldcraft WP17 flexhead TIG torch. It includes a Lincoln hand controller with a 6 pin connector. It came off a Lincoln V205 Invertec TIG but should fit other models with a 6 pin connector. The controller works fine but the knob for your thumb fell off. I had no trouble using it with only the slider sticking up. You can see this in the picture with the pencil. Torch length is approx. 22ft. Ground length is approx. 9ft. Up to you to confirm this will fit your machine.
