Free Shipping Condition: Used Location: Clearfield, United States Super clean Snap Start II that was part of my Maxstar 152 set-up. I just had a Miller authorized repair center in the Portland. OR area totally check ... moreout this Snap Start II along with my Maxstar 152 welder. Turns out my Maxstar machine needed some repair, some parts were scarce and are costly. I talked to the technician for over a half an hour about his diagnosis. He determined my issue was all in the welder unit itself and that the Snap Start II was operating perfectly. I have decided not to repair my Maxstar and sell this High Freq Arc starter box. It is wired for 120 volt but can be changed to 230 volt(don't see the need to do that) I am not sure if this Snap Start II works on other amperage Maxstar's. You would have to do some research. I am not accepting returns on this item because it was just checked out by a Miller service center and I have no control of this unit being hooked up correctly and to what Miller power source it was being purchased for. I never miss lead buyers and always have represented every item I sell straight up. My rating shows that.

The starter is in working order and good cosmetic condition, the only thing missing is one of the screws for the access door(to access the connections) includes a weldcraft torch model wp-17, and a miller remote pedal model rfcs-14 with the 14 pin plug, everything is used and shows scratches, dust burns etc, the pedal has a yellow paint stain, but nothing affects the performance. the torch could use a new tungsten. the starter has a gas valve already installed and has 14 pin connection for use to control contactor and current on a wide variety of miller welders with the 14 pin connection. this is the 110v model any questions before bidding. thing is heavy with accessories so s&h will be $60 anywhere in the contiguous states

Miller Maxstar Snap Start II High Frequency Arc Starter Inverter Welder Lift Arc
Super clean Snap Start II that was part of my Maxstar 152 set-up. I just had a Miller authorized repair center in the Portland. OR area totally check out this Snap Start II along with my Maxstar 152 welder. Turns out my Maxstar machine needed some repair, some parts were scarce and are costly. I talked to the technician for over a half an hour about his diagnosis. He determined my issue was all in the welder unit itself and that the Snap Start II was operating perfectly. I have decided not to repair my Maxstar and sell this High Freq Arc starter box. It is wired for 120 volt but can be changed to 230 volt(don't see the need to do that) I am not sure if this Snap Start II works on other amperage Maxstar's. You would have to do some research. I am not accepting returns on this item because it was just checked out by a Miller service ... morecenter and I have no control of this unit being hooked up correctly and to what Miller power source it was being purchased for. I never miss lead buyers and always have represented every item I sell straight up. My rating shows that.

Good condition. Works great! This unit stands out from a few others because both types of remote plug types are on the front cover: The OEM small round remote is present as well as an added 14 pin remote for updated controls. This unit is nearly identicle to the HF-251. I picked up a new synchrowave and now have little use for this old workhorse. This unit ship exactly as shown with only the accesories pictured. Miller has the original manual posted for reference at millerwelds dotcom or I can send the winning bidder a pdf copy.
