This auction is for a Pelouze Y50 mechanical spring scale with a 50lb maximum weight with 2 oz minor divisions on the dial. This scale has been gently. Infrequently used since 2003. The date code on the bottom is 4003. The rate scale on the front is from June 30, 2002. The weighing platform is 6’ x 4 ¾” and the overall size is 6 ½” W x 6 ½” D x 8 ½” H. I’ve compared it to a recent electronic scale and found that it is accurate to within 2 ounces or less of the electronic scale over a range of different weights. Pelouze Model Y50 Mechanical Shipping Scale- 50lb capacity. 2oz increments. Works great. Very good condition. It will need to be recalibrated to zero once you receive it. Which can be done easily using the knob on the back side. I'm not sure if it's made in USA or China. The scale window on the front says"Made in USA" and the sticker on the bottom says Made in China. Go figure.
