Up for your consideration/ auction is an Vintage Hewett Packard Power supply HP 6259B regulated power supply. Please read this description and review and examine all the pictures before placing any bids on this item. I have had this power supply in my possession since 7-3-2000. I bought this for a project that I never did get around to doing. It has been inside of dry storage of an warehouse for the past 11 years. I have not used it. It is made in U.S.A. from the back information plate lettering of silk screen printing that was done at the factory. This power supply is in nice condition. It has been lightly used. With only some scratch marks on the bottom from being moved around in it's storage days. There are some scratches on the top cover and bottom cover of the case from being handled and that is all of the marks on the other sides ... moreof this case that I could find. There is also some glue residue that is embedded into the paint on the middle part of the front panel. The front panel is in nice usable shape with all the hand tighten screw on terminals present and the Standard-head screws are all in great shape with no rounding out of the heads of the screws. The power on indicator is present and looks to be in good shape. The power On/Off switch moves from one position to the other with a nice click sound and feel when moved. The COARSE. FINE VOLTAGE and the COARSE, FINE CURRENT knobs are present and in great shape. They move smoothly through their range of motion with no ruff spots. The knobs are complete with no cracks or missing parts. Some of the case screws that are not stainless steel do have some surface rust on them The only thing I could find wrong is that are a few areas on the front face where the paint has worn away and the metal is slightly exposed and you can see this in the photos of the front face. All the sides of the casing seems to be in great shape with no major marks or dents. There is a few areas where the factory paint has come off and there are a small bit of surface rust on there area

I do not have much of any information of how long I have had this power supply or where I acquired it from. The connection terminals do not have any solder residue on them from previous connections. So all I can say it that I have not used or tested this power supply in any way. This has been in my possession for a while, as there is a layer of dust and light dirt deposited on it from being stored inside of a warehouse for an amount of time. All of the components on the PC board and the connections of the components and all of the wires look to be in great shape. The transformer installed a PACIFIC TRANSFORMER 101028 E. Phone Number(714) 779-0450 and is dated"OCTOBER ... more1992" There are no burn marks or heat marks, from use, on the top, or sides of this transformer. The Phillips brand capacitor is great shape with no burn marks or holes from the material leaking out of the case of this capacitor. All the connected wires are in great shape also. On the bottom of the case and on the front of it. None of the mounting holes have any marks on them. It looks like this power supply has never been mounted in any place in a fixed position. Like I stated above. There is a layer of dust, light dirt on all of the surfaces of the components on this power supply. This all seems to be from being left out in the storage warehouse for some amount of time. I can only list this power supply as used because of the condition of all of the dust and light dirt on all of the components. Yes it could be cleaned up. But that would not show the age or correct condition of this power supply. There are some very light scratches on the bottom and the front of this power supply. From being moved around when it was moved from one place to another during it's storage times. Please do ask question about this item as I am available to answer them in the early
