DSP Technology IBM/6002 Computer/CAMAC Interface Board For sale- a DSP Technology Inc. IBM/6002 Rev. D Computer Board. A quick search of the web produced absolutely nothing regarding it. So I can only guess that it is a computer interface for CAMAC racks. As the only other DSP Technology products I have come across were CAMAC racks and plug-ins. I leave it up to you to determine if that is an accurate description. Two are available. Price is for ONE. The board is untested and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. I have several different DSP CAMAC plug-ins that I hope to get listed soon(including a 6001 CC) as well as a few racks and power supplies. But the other Xycom boards I have in this format have nothing on that trim piece other than the model number and the screw attachments and removal ears. Which wouldn’t be required for using it I don’t suppose. It would just make it harder to seat it on the backplane connections in the rack and harder to remove. I suppose that you could pull a trim piece from another VME card and put it on this one? I have no idea why the piece is missing. Perhaps to allow cable access from the front of the rack? I have no way to test the board. And it is sold without warranty. HOWEVER. But the two green LED’s are both RUN indicators and with nothing running maybe they shouldn’t light up. And obviously you don’t want the red ERROR LED to light. Motorola MVME 165-03 CPU Board For sale- a Motorola MVME 165-03 CPU Board. I don’t know much about the VME format but what I can say with certainty is that the processor installed is an XC68040RC33E. Which I am guessing is a 33MHz version. I suspect that tells you most of what you need to know. The main board is dated 1992. The board has been tested for power only. When the Dawn VME Products rack is powered up the green RUN LED comes on. And I thought perhaps I remembered the SCON LED being on as well. But in the pictures you can only see the RUN light on. And that just barely. Perhaps the flash washed it out in the pictures. I don’t know if that is the correct power up sequence but I find it encouraging. The rack is complete in the sense that you will receive it as pictured and has all the guide rails still in place. It does NOT have a power supply. I am selling that separately. The rack was stripped out of a larger ELMA mainframe computer type chassis that had already been stripped of hard drives. Etc. I bought the thing because it still had some VME cards installed. Including a Force Sparc CPU-2CE board that I have already sold, plus a VMIC DR11W and an ICS 110A-32B, those took up the“normal” sized VME part of the rack. I see it referred to online as a DMA Direct Memory Access Interface but I don’t know that for a fact. Rather than waste time pasting other descriptions of the board here. I would rather that you did your own homework relative to any intended application before you buy. I assume that if you are here checking this out you probably already know what you need to know about VME boards. It looks like VMIC was acquired by GE somewhere along the way. But I am guessing that you already knew that as well. I don’t see the GE logo on this one anywhere so either it predates the acquisition or VMIC continued as a freestanding unit for awhile.
