Selling With No Reserve! Hi! I have for Auction here a nice working 1/2 HP Single Phase 110 Volt Craftsman Electric Motor. It runs at 3450 RPM's. The shaft size is approx. 2" long and 5/8" dia. I believe it probably came off of a Jointer. Belt, Disk Sander but could be used on anything. The black cover sticking out the back is another shaft coming out the back side and it is approx. 1-1/2" long and 1/2" dia. it has no keyway but just a flat surface. I did not test this motor. Good motor for just about anything. I don't know much about electrical stuff but it has a regular 110 plug and another set of wires coming out of it which may be for the on& off switch. See Pictures. This is a good used motor. I left it running all night in the garage(not under load) It is fairly quiet and did not heat up very much at all. It is a Century AC Motor. By AO Smith and is typically used for Air Compressor applications, although you could use it for other applications as well. The electrical cover plate is missing, you will have to make one. I do not know how much it has been used. But, I will guarantee it for 30 days. That should give you time to get it hooked up, under load, and run it for awhile. I will pay the return shipping, should the motor fail during that time. If you return it for any other reason, like you selected the wrong motor for your application, you will pay the return shipping. Somebody created a direct short across the line terminals. This motor has what looks to be a 5/8" shaft. Looking directly at the shaft when plugged in. The motor turns COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. There are only 2 wires inside the electric box and you ARE NOT able to reverse the polarity. I purchased this motor because I thought my compressor motor was going bad. But discovered it was a bad belt. I no longer have a use for it so I am offering it here for what I paid for it. It is a used 3/4 HP Single Phase Induction Motor in nice condition and RUNS GREAT& QUIET. It is 110 Volts. 60 Hertz, 1700 RPM and made in China. The power cord is included.
