Here is a really heavy-duty commercial Century electric motor. From what I understand. This motor was not used very much and was taken out of an oil refining plant. It looked really nice when my dad first got it. But it has been moved around his shop a bunch of times over the years and now some of the paint is peeling. It still turns freely and is in good condition. Notice that it has grease fittings on both ends. It is truly a commercial unit! Gould Century electric motor from an old air compressor. This was my spare motor but never needed it. The motor details are: 230 volt 3450 RPM 12 AMP 2 HP I believe single phase as well. The part number is 8-150794-01. The frame number is Y56H. The plug is cut off and I have no way of testing it to see if it still works. It sat under a workbench for 20 years. This motor was installed new on our furnace fan in July of this year. We installed a brand new furnace in mid-September so this motor was used for a minimum of two months. Some of the technical stuff listed on the label for this motor include: S#316P759. RPM 1725; V 115; A 5.9, HZ 60; FR 48 Type S; SF 1.35. The pulley is 1/2" and 4" in diameter. The motor looks to have a 1/2" shaft. It was manufactured by Regal Beloit EPC, Inc. It does have a black/white wiring harness. There is no bracket with this motor. Threaded front shaft has some pitting from water contact. However, the shaft surprisingly did not leak, even though the bearing was falling apart. It may still function as a HT pump motor with a new pump(wet end) on it. Motor is in excellent working condition and was not effected by the broken pump bearing.
