It appears to have a reverse slide control in the brush compartment(see picture 11) But I haven't figured out how to slide it-it could be just stiff and i don't want to force it. This motor has what looks to be a 5/8" shaft. Looking directly at the shaft when plugged in. The motor turns COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. There are only 2 wires inside the electric box and you ARE NOT able to reverse the polarity. I purchased this motor because I thought my compressor motor was going bad. But discovered it was a bad belt. I no longer have a use for it so I am offering it here for what I paid for it. It is a used 3/4 HP Single Phase Induction Motor in nice condition and RUNS GREAT& QUIET. It is 110 Volts. 60 Hertz, 1700 RPM and made in China. The power cord is included.
