You are bidding on a Dayton brand electric motor. The model number is 6K614E and it is a 1 ½ HP motor. All other numbers are clearly shown in the photo of the name plate. The motor appears to be in good condition and should work just fine. It has been installed in something and has not been tested but it doesn’t appear to have had much use. The motor is about 11 ½ inches long from end to end and about 10 inches tall from the mounting plate to the top of the capacitor. The motor has some cosmetic wear mainly on the back that is clearly shown in the pictures. Please look at the pictures carefully to see exactly what you are bidding on and its condition. Heavy Duty 2 HP 1 Phase Dayton electric motor in very good working condition. 2 HP. 1 phase, 213 frame, 1-1/8" shaft, reversible, 110/220, drip proof enclosure, capacitor start, all ball bearing. The only thing wrong is that I misplaced and cannot locate the cover for the junction box. It is a flat metal cover. Changing the box to a generic one would not be difficult, as it is attached with 2 screws. Or, a motor repair shop may have a cover. There is a 5-1/2" variable pitch pulley mounted, and it is included. The price on this is low for a industrial motor. This motor weighs 59 pounds. With a plywood bottom box the total weight is 65 pounds.

This is a DAYTON Electric Motor Model 2N8657. It is rated at 1/2 hp& 1425 rpm. It has a 5/8" shaft with a 3/16" key. The frame is a 56. I am not an electric motor expert so I added photos of the specification labels of this motor as there is some contradictory information concerning the Hertz and the rpm. As for the condition. I have no definitive knowledge of the history of this motor. However, other than a little dust it appears to be in really nice shape.
