For sale is one used. Made-in-USA, Baldor three-phase 5HP motor with 184T frame, 1-1/8" diameter shaft and 1725 RPM. It can be wired for CW or CCW rotation(reversible) It's missing paint in numerous ares, the worst of which is shown in the pic. There is light corrosion on the shaft between the pulley area and housing. It was removed from a Champion air compressor that underwent a single-phase conversion. The compressor was new in 2003, used infrequently for three years(less that 100 hours of operation) then put into storage. Please note this motor was made in Fort Smith, Arizona. The rotation can be either clockwise or counterclockwise. It has a 7/8 inch shaft. This is used and has blue overspray from panting my tank before it started leaking. But is in great working order. I bought an air compressor and this motor was on it. I only have single phase in my garage so I swapped it out. I can hook it up so buyer can see it run. This is a good used motor. I left it running all night in the garage(not under load) It is fairly quiet and did not heat up very much at all. It is a Century AC Motor. By AO Smith and is typically used for Air Compressor applications, although you could use it for other applications as well. The electrical cover plate is missing, you will have to make one. I do not know how much it has been used. But, I will guarantee it for 30 days. That should give you time to get it hooked up, under load, and run it for awhile.
