Quantum physics aren’t normally the province of the Trout Underground. We tend to focus on far more cerebral concepts (The Slaw Dog: Cholesterol-Laden Feast, or Fundamental Building Block of Matter?).
Still, we’re always willing to go slumming, so when a blog focused on Quantum Mechanics posts an article about fly fishing (not necessarily as fly fishing relates to quantum theory, but more how it poses significant dangers to your body), we stand ready to help spread the word.
It’s yet another example of the lengths we’ll go to in our never-ending attempts to further humanity’s understanding of the universe. (Plus we get to laugh at a smart guy. We like laughing at smart guys).

The funny part about this guys account of his day fishing is he said he was going to the urgent care facility to laugh and the DUMB TOURISTS…….he had a fly sticking out of his finger and in all his wisdom he couldn’t get it out. That is just funny to me…..Maybe now he will learn to fish barbless.
