We have researched this and are in contact with the original manufacturer which made this classic interlocking butcher block table about 65 years ago. It is a Bally Block/ Michigan Maple Company piece. If you don't know the firm take some time to look it up. By far the very best tables in the industry, the standard that others measure by. This piece is 40" long x 30" wide and a full 14" thick. It has enough of the manufacturer label left to know it is a Bally Block Company table. Some minor separation ... moreand no cleaning. In storage for the past 40+ years. Legs are 18" long to support surface so overall height assembled will be 32" high from floor to surface, a nice shorter island. You can bring up the table by adding new floor spacers that we removed due to rotting. These are normally 4-6" tall and fasten to the bottom the the legs. This piece was made in early half if 1949 and is marked on the underside with a wood burn, see pictures. The top surface is as expected from a post WW2 neighborhood butcher shop. Worn. But workable. The sides look nice and we will include a full bottle of Butcher Block Conditioner for the winning bidder to clean this classic piece back to new. The table is apart as you can see, we will help load to your Freight Company but understand that it is VERY heavy and you will need 4-6 strong people to set upright and place all legs back in place. Up for consideration is a vintage industrial stainless steel and maple butcher block drawered prep table. The piece measures 72" inches long by 30 inches deep by 31 inches deep. The height is 33 1/2 inches tall. The table has some discoloration and could stand a good cleaning. Great as a work bench or clean it up and it can easily brought up to standard for indoor use. This auction is for a super nice used butcher block table. This table stands 34" high and is 2' x 5' long. The butcher top on it is 2" thick and it sits on 4 solid legs that are 3 1/2" square in size. There is some minor wear on the top but can be easily sanded to be like new. Please see pics. This is a great work table for any kitchen. Bakery or restaurant for a prep table. The legs are removeable and this table is very solid and very heavy. Vtg 72" Maple Wood Butcher Block 6" Back Side Splash 30" Deep Baker Work Table
Up for sale is a Very Large Beautiful Wood Butcher Block. I believe it is made out of Maple. But I am not 100% sure. It has a nice 6" back and side splash on three sides and the bottom and walls are a heavy 2" thick. It is 72" long and 30" wide, with a 68" by 28" work space! It does not come with a stand and it is very heavy, roughly 225 lbs. It has some scratches and scuff marks. It also has a little bit of residue and light staining. But I believe all of this would easily sand out and would look even better stained and waxed again. I am willing to prep this for shipment. But the buyer will take care of all of the arrangements. This would include getting in touch with the freight carrier of their choosing and contacting me with a pick up date. AMTEKCO Bakers Table 8' Gorgeous Maple Butcher Block Boos
This is a BEAUTIFUL Amtekco Maple Bakers table.NEVER used for any sort of butchering or anything. We just refinished the top by stripping the old coat(no chemicals) then fine sanding and finally apply a fresh coat of high quality bees wax mixed with mineral oil then finely scraping off any residue. As you can see it has an open base for storage of ingredient bins etc. underneath. It is framed on the underside of the wood with angle iron and is extremely sturdy! This my personal table from my now closed catering business and would love to see it go to a good home. It measures 8' long by 34 1/2" high by 30" deep. The top is 2" thick. There is some very light rust marks on the stainless legs as you can see in the pics that will come off with steel wool.
