24x48 canvas; weighs up to 50-60 lbs. Painting on canvas with wood. Panel fence, and burlap. The lines of dark red and light red making the criss cross affect were made by using tape. Tape was applied and reapplied after each layer of paint. There are up to 6 layers of paint under top to give it the numerous colors. The wood is securely screwed to the canvas frame with the panel securely wired to the screws. The burlap is intricately woven through the panel and screws to give it hold and affect. On the back side of canvas it is signed and dated by the artist along with the letters AP, standing for actual reproduction.
