I'm just speculating but. It's pretty neat. This is INSIDE the gloves and does show! These gloves are the softest/ finest leather I have ever come across. The way the leather has aged throughout the years has made each glove have their own unique shades of brown to light tan. They have been lightly worn and definitely properly cared for and stored. There are no rips or any major stains. Just light wear/small blemishes over the years. They call this style of extremely vintage glove the driving glove.
