After more research i found another rack exactly like this, but it is used for oil cans? I guess you can use it for whatever you want. I got these handles back in the 1960's from a department store. When you bought a coat. Or suit, the sales person put them in a box, with tissue paper, and then wrapped the box with string so it wouldn't come open. Then they took these handles and attached the string on your box, to the wire ends, and you had a nice carrying handle so the string didn't cut into your hands as you finished your shopping!
