1972 Martin D12-28 with original blue Martin hardshell case. Great. Solid guitar in good, clean condition, The action is incredibly low and very playable- the picture above with the dime is the 12th fret clearance. The frets are near perfect with no signs of wear, and no buzzing or dead spots anywhere up the fretboard. The sound is full, lush and everything Martin is known for. The bridge is solid and is NOT lifting at all. There are some cracks in the top, and I cant tell if they are finish cracks or into the wood. I have posted detailed pictures above. It looks as if some minor gluing was done at the heel of the neck. I have owned this guitar since 1981, and all of these things were there before I bought it. One of the names has a Polish"ski" on the end. The spoon has wear and a dent on the front of the bowl. Next. A table spoon marked- 13, Zeizer" 13 Loths=.812 silver) It has dents in the bowl. Lastly, a spoon marked- 13" 812 silver purity) It has some tiny dents in the bowl. The total weight of the three spoons is 42.0 grams or 1.48 ounces. The 12 and 13 assay marks for silver purity were used in Germany, Prussia, Poland during the 1700's and 1800's.

This one is nice. A gorgeous example of an early Takamine, First year of U.S. import for Takamine was 1975. This one has yellowing of the binding that looks rather cool and gives it that vintage look, The bridge appears to be ebony and is very secure, the fret board definitely rosewood. There are fewer than average dings and/or scratches. My inspection shows 2 or 3 small little single point finish dings on front and 2 light scratches on the back, and the usual in the right light and also very light surface scratches from being played. The only issue I see is some light scratches around the bass side of bridge, looks as if it was probably re glued on that side. These bridges have very small factory installed nuts and bolts w/washers mounted under the two MOP dots, you see on either side of bridge. This auction is for a pair of unique custom industrial type wooden frame parts cabinets with drawers constructed of heavier solid brass/copper that has a pleasing patina. The bodies of cabinets measures roughfully 12" tall by 5" wide by 6" deep. The drawers ride on metal rails inside the cabinets[ see pictures. The drawers measure 5" x 4" x 2" deep. The weight of each drawer varies from a low of 10.2oz to a high of 13.3oz. making these heavier cabinets each weighing close to 6lb. Each drawer pull has a slot for labeling. The pattern is called"Mothers" There have been 3 pieces lost and a 7 pieces purchased during the passing century. It is in very good shape. The set contains. 12 dinner knives(there are only 11 in the picture, one was out for a joyride during the shoot) 12 salad(or breakfast) knives, 12 butter knives, 12 dinner forks, 12 salad forks 12 dessert forks, 12 soup spoons, 11 citrus spoons, 10 tea spoons, 6 slightly smaller tea spoons(monogrammed) 3 large serving spoons, 1 serving fork, 1 large ladle, 1 small ladle(monogrammed) 1 jelly spoon, and 1 bar knife = 119 pieces! They all carry the Gorham anchor and are tested.925 sterling. This listing is for a vintage used solid brass tray marked on the bottom- G. T. Sutterley& Co. Phila. This tray is 12” across and 1 ¼” high with a steel support band running under the upper lip of tray. The bottom of tray has very pronounced ridges which I find unusual. I do not know for certain what the purpose of this tray was. If you know you can let me know. I researched the G. T. Sutterley Co. and found that they were well known for their spittoons, although they made a variety of other items. This tray may have been used under a spittoon to catch drippings. Tray is in good shape, but has several dings, mostly along the bottom. I think this would look good under a vintage spittoon, but use it for whatever you choose. Estimated to be early 1900’s. Circa 1930s/1940s, solid mahogany, bow front with chamfered edges, solid brass handles and hardware. Holds a full service for twelve plus serving pieces. Lined with genuine Pacific Silver Cloth. It measures 17" wide. 12" deep, and 3-1/4" tall. It is in the original finish and needs some restoration. The surface has some dents. Nicks, and scratches, and needs to be refinished or at least amalgamated. There is a pretty good size chip along the rear side of the bottom edge. It is missing the lid knob. The inside is clean.
