Vintage Milk/Cream/Oil? Wire Bottle Basket/Holder/Carrier Hold 6 Containers
I have here a wire basket. It has some white paint left on it and quite a bit of dirt. I am not sure if it was used for milk. Cream or maybe oil. It will holds six containers, each hole is approximately 2 5/8 x 2 5/8. The whole basket measures approximately 8 1/2 x 5 3/4 x 3. From the top of the handle to the bottom of the basket it is approximately 8 inches. The wire bottom does not go straight across it steps up about 3/4 of an inch through the center you can see in the photos. The basket is in good condition it is not bent out of shape. Up for auction is a great old Gas Service Station 8 Compartment Quart Glass Motor Oil Wire Basket Carrier. Bought over 40 years ago out of a closed roadside Gas Station. I'm uncertain of exact year. But early 1900's. Measures 14" long x 8" wide x by 24" diameter. Has a metal screw on lid with a punched star symbol. And a wire bail carrier. I believe the trap was used some. But not much. No Cracks in the glass, no visible scratches, and very little signs of wear on the glass. There is a chip on the rim of the mouth where the lid screws on. Also, has a little wear and surface rust on the wire bail carrier. Hendryx VIntage Metal Wire Small Animal Cage Carrier- Pet Hamster Gerbil Rat
This is pretty dirty and has surface rust. Some of the bars are slightly bent and there are other marks and dents. There is a small label on the front that says'Hendryx' The cage is is metal on one side and around the bottom. The tray is also metal. The door slides up easily- it just slides. It doesn't have a lock or catch. The wheel spins just fine and they tray slides out fairly easily. There is a glass bottle on the side held on with a wire. The black part around the spout is cracked in a few places. I did not try to fill the bottle up because it would not come off easily and I didn't want to damage it any more. I don't know if it would hold water or not. The cage is about 10-3/4" across the front and back. A little over 10" tall and 7" wide along the sides. This is a used 36E93-304 Bryant-Carrier-Payne 5-wire gas valve manufactured by White Rodgers. It is A.K.A. Bryant-Carrier EF-32CW-183 and Johnstone L37-508. Carrier. Who also markets furnaces under the Bryant and Payne brand names, is somewhat infamous for developing their own special proprietary type of equipment that was not interchangeable with other brands. Together with the 3-wire safety pilot this special type of gas valve gave Carrier their own unique type of equipment for igniting the burners. Basically. If you have a Bryant-Carrier-Payne furnace with an existing 5-wire gas valve that has gone bad. You need to get a new valve like this. There are no generic brands that work straight out of the box. This is a good working part from a Carrier 100 Series 114.000 BTUH furnace we replaced not too long ago with a new high efficiency furnace. ... moreI will also include a copy of the installation instructions. The cover page is shown with the pictures. I am an HVAC contractor and I am also listing some other good used parts removed from furnaces and boilers we have replaced. As a general rule. I do not accept returns on these parts, because I know they were working. Even my suppliers will not take returns from me on brand new parts because is too easy to mix up the wires and blow out a circuit. You may be an HVAC expert. But even experts make mistakes. I have no way to check if it was installed correctly, or if it was even the part that needed to be replaced. Some furnace wires are 110V and some are 24V. It is very easy to mess up. Especially when you are working in a cramped space at a weird angle in a dark corner of the blower compartment and the wires are just barely long enough to reach. Been there and done that.
