Listing is for one New 24 Volt DC Permanent Magnet Motor removed from E Bike add on kit. These motors were purpose built for E bikes and would use a friction pulley that would directly contact the the tire of a bicycle. Each motor purchased will come with this pulley installed. The pulley is easily removed with an allen set screw. The kits were part of a buyout and would have had 2 sealed lead acid batteries along with the motor in a case that would sit on a rack behind your bike seat, the motor friction pulley would have contacted the rear tire. The motors were removed because the batteries were left too long on the shelf in a discharged state which rendered them useless and they were removed and recycled. This resembles an older Zenith model Windcharger. Same exact original blade with brass shroud. Same fin but motor looks to be upgraded at one time. I did get it off my grandfathers barn and he used it to run off grind along with solar. I know he was always maintaining all his farm equipment and when I got it. It was in perfect shape. No rust because he had a thick coat of a weather green paint on it! I completely restored it, and was going to add the zenith graphics logo to the fin but never got around to it. Here is a very interesting Vintage motor generator type 31.The motor was use by a car garage years ago to test dynamos after they were repaired for customers and as a lighting generator with a home built switchboard. Running with a 1 1\2HP stationary engine. It would also charge a battery. Used yeas ago by a garage for testing dynamo. The Stationary engine would turn the dynamo which if working would send power to this motor generator it would start spinning and give a read out to the switch board, and could also charge a battery and light. I have been salvaging and selling PMDC motors for years and have put them to use in a wide variety of applications: 1. Highly Efficient Wind Generator. 2. Human-powered generators. 3. Water Turbines/Generators. I am selling this as a generator; I have not tested it hooked up to power because that's not why I am selling it. I prefer these be used to generate power; not to consume power. So please don't ask what treadmill it came from or whether it will handle a load; I don't know and don't care. What I do know is that it will GENERATE power simply by turning it with your bare fingers. These motors are very. Very good at generating wind, water or direct force power and they last a REALLY long time. All of the specs for this particular motor can be clearly seen in the images. Flywheels of my PMDC motors often have surface rust ... morethat DOES NOT in any way affect the performance. Efficiency or operation of these motors. In some cases I use them with the flywheels(water turbine) and in some cases I use them without(wind) By bidding on this item. You agree that you know what it is, how to use it and whether it will work for your particular application or not. I saved the power wires intact on this but I also saved the sensor wires too in case you need them. Flywheel will come off for shipping in a medium flat rate box; IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE FLYWHEEL.
