Healthways "N" Type Post Valve 1/2" Pipe Thread
This is a vintage. From the late 50's-early 60's, on/off tank valve. A post style that was called"N" type. It is for the old 1/2" pipe thread style of steel tank. It was Manufactured by"Healthways SCUBA L.A. Calif. Healthways stopped manufacturing scuba equipment in the late 70's. It has the standar d thick O'ring valve face interface. There is a high pressure port on one side. For a gauge, I guess, a port plug has been installed. On the back is the burst disc screw, old style, j ust the screw and washer no disc. These valves were used with 1800 to 2250 PSI tanks. Sold as is used. All sales final, no returns or exchanges. Being offered as a novelty item for display purposes only. Appears to be operational, make a fine paper weight on your desk. Shipped upon receipt of payment.

Most qu ite old English pieces like this very fine William Eaton sterling silver stuffing serving spoon. Very large at 12-1/2" in length and very substantial. This spoon is done in the fiddle. Th read and shell design popular around the time it was made in 1842. The spoon has a family crest symbol(bird with wings upstretched) mark on the stem. A common practice for items made during this era. The spoon also has the shell design on the heel and back of the stem. The bowl itself is 4" long by 2-1/8" wide. There is no damage to the spoon. Bicycle parts, Crank Arm Tap Set, 1/2 Inch-20 thread
This tap set dates back to the late 1960's or early 70's. It is complete with right hand tap. And also a"reverse thread" or left hand thread tap, and tap holder. Both taps are made in the USA, and are sharp to the touch. The two taps are of different mfg though, so I am not sure if one of the originals was lost, etc. The"Left" tap appears to be the newer of the two. The tool holder is machined steel and is completely functional. The handles have a nice knurling to them for a good grip. One side of the v-notch jaws is slightly messed up as if someone tried to grip a round tool, instead of the intended square-end style tool. These small dings on the one end of the V-notches does not impair the tools ability to properly hold a square end tap, such as these. Both knurled handles are threaded. This creates a superb ... morelock-up on the square end of the tap. Solid wood box has milled out slots for holder and taps. Hinges on box are in perfect condition, and closes tight with small hasp closure. Wood is not warped at all. Top and bottom of box mate perfectly together. Wood seperates all three pieces to avoid cutting edges of taps to get dinged up. Great protection for a great tool. Slightl surface rust on tap holder. And slight on non-critical shank of right tap. Left tap is pristine.

It seems to me that this set is usable on cameras which have thread mounts for their lenses. I can easily be very wrong) Everything is in clean condition. They are"rat trap" style with raised tooth edges, and they also appear to be rebuildable- the dust cap screws off. They were made in Taiwan for Midway Sales Inc, of Columbus Ohio. They appear to be from a closed bicycle shop and date most likely from the late 70's-early 80's- no date on the package. These are great for every day use or for a restoration project. Face Plates and other miscellaneous tools that have been in storage are now being released for disposition. Offered here is an original South Bend 8" Diameter Face Plate. This came from a 10" South Bend Heavy 10 Lathe. And has the standard 2-1/4" x 8 threaded mount. The#LFP-100L is stamped into the plate.

Up for auction is a nice lot of pipe taps: 1-1/4" 1" 3/4" The 1-1/4" 1" are both made by Superior Tap Company and are 11-1/2 thread with 5 flutes and 3-1/2" long. The 1-1/4" has a 1" square end. The 1" has a 7/8" square end. The 3/4" is 14 thread with 5 flutes, 3-1/8" long and has a 5/8" square end. There is some minor surface rust, but all are still in very good useable condition.
