Up for auction a vintage Porcelain single pole double throw fused"Frankenstein" blade/knife switch. The porcelain itself is in good condition. I noticed a tiny crack on side, a few tiny chips on one edge and bottom has some orange stuff on it here and there. On the bottom one side has black hard substance and the other side is a soft substance, see pictures. The metal screws are a little rusty, the brass looks good and the wooden knob paint is worn in spots. The switch is in good condition. The top has writing it's hard to read, I think it reads G H& Co. This auction includes ten(10) single-pole. Double-throw"on-on" toggle switches. I used these switches to operate the"Tortoise Slow Motion Switch Machines" on my HO scale layout. They are in very good condition and worked fine. As you can see in the photos, there are small pieces of wire still soldered to the terminal points which will be easy for you to unsolder and remove when you're adding new wires. My layout was rather large and included around 50 rotaries for block power control and over 60 toggles for operating Tortoise Switch Machines, so please watch for my other auctions as I post them. I am auctioning 2 ea 4 pole double throw and 1 ea 3 pole double throw toggle switches. These switches were salvaged many years ago from some vintage US Military equipment. They are all in excellent operating equipment. Buyer pays S&H expense of $4.85. Payment via PayPal is preferred.
