Antique Cast Iron& Wood 14 Fishing Pole Hardware Store Display Stand Rack Up for sale is this Antique Cast Iron& Wood 14 Fishing Pole Hardware Store Display Stand or rack. This was purchased at the estate sale of a 103 year old woman whose family had owned a hardware store since the late 1800s. This was used in their store. The black metal parts have a heavy black japanned finish. I don't know what type of wood was used to make this but the curved wood part on top has a bird's eye grain. The wood part on top has a groove for the rubber ring with 14 pairs of loops for the fishing pole tops. There are 14 corresponding round recessed spots in the bottom piece of wood for the base of the fishing rods. Unusual must have display rack for the antique fishing rod and reel collector! Condition: It is all original and is in very good ... morecondition with all original parts intact. No cracks or chips in the metal and most of the original japanning is intact.some rubs and oxidation from use but they are pretty minor. Measurements: 33" tall overall. The bottom measures 11" in diameter and the top measures about 6 3/4" in diameter. The rack is easily unscrewed from the heavy cast iron base so I might ship the base separately if it will reduce shipping costs. Markings: None I have many other great items up for auction. This sign is in excellent condition with no folds. Bends or fading or any other kind of damage, they are perfect. They measure 14 X 4 3/4 the colors are bright and vibrant. They are made from a heavy card stock with a smooth finish. They do not produce signs like these any more, so they are very hard to find. I only have a couple of each so get them while you can. This sign is a Crappie with a Crippled Herring lure and says LUHR JENSEN We're hot for PANFISH. The display board is 26" x 22" x 1/4" and weighs four and one-half pounds. Can be framed or hung as-is, or stands alone on the sturdy fold-out easel backing. Antique Chestnut Glass Door Display Cabinet, was in Country Store since 1931
Beautiful Rustic Piece from a small town Indiana country store. This piece was put in the store when it was opened in 1931 but no one is sure if i's older or was made for the store. I would think it's older because of how scarce Chestnut was at that time. For anyone that doesn't know American Chestnut is considered extinct. They were killed in the first quarter of the cenury by an oriental blight that it had no resistance to. When they say extinct for a plant. There are still a few Chestnut trees but in such small quantities. This glass door cabinet is:15 1/2" wide X 13 1/2" deep X 65" tall. Old General Store Miniature Wooden Display Case for Counter - Ribbon or Sewing
Approx. 13" wide x 9" tall x 8 1/2" wide. This wooden vintage display case is close to 100 years old. It opens from the back and inside are 11 wire dividers, graduated in size. There is a small plaque that reads'Made by Specialty Display Case Kendallville Indiana' I believe this may have held roles of ribbon. The back of the lid was made with a narrow gap- just wide enough for the ribbon to hang out and be cut to the customers size. That would alleviate taking the roll of ribbon totally out of the case. It is in very good condition with minor wear(a few light scratches) to the back door and one side. There is a small chip in the upper corner tip of the glass. Antique Vintage Early 1900's Oak & Glass Jewelry Display Cabinet Store Case
This auction is for an early 1900's oak and glass display case. Patent date corresponds to 1911.1912. It was made by The Specialty Case Co. Kendallville, Indiana. Overall it measures about 10 1/2" wide x 18" long x 4" high and the thickness of the glass is about 1/4" Condition wise, there is NO key for the rear lock. The original finish has either worn off or been removed from the front, sides and top rear of the case. The glass shows surface scuffs, scratches and age spotting. Back edge of the glass has some roughness and left top edge of the glass has one small chip and about three pinhead size chips. The sticky tape underneath the edge of the glass has deteriorated and the rear part of the glass can be lifted up about 3/8"

This is a nice old 1950s-era BUSTER BROWN MANNEQUIN Doll. He stands 32 inches high. These hollow hard-plastic mannequins were used in dime stores during the 1950s to display the Buster Brown line of children's clothes. This mannequin is in used condition. He is structurally sound- no seam splits. Except for a shallow seam split on the bottom of his left foot. No unpleasant odors. He stands solidly on a flat surface. He needs a good cleaning, and there is some transfer dye in the plastic. His facial paint is pretty good, but he has lots of paint rubs in his hair. Vintage Bowes Advertising Tire Repair Metal Cabinet! It is in rough condition and needs for you to restore it and work on it to make it look like it did when it was new. If you want it like it is then that is your decision but I just want you to be aware it is in rough condition. You could also purchase it just for parts to restore another one just like it. This one has its 2 of its drawers that most of them do not have. These cabinets almost in mint condition are pricey. Just in good condition missing the drawers people are asking around $200 and Bowes advertising displays similar to this actually sold for over $200. We are not even thinking close to that amount because we know this item is not in that great of condition but we still feel it has some use to someone and should not end up in the dump somewhere. We picked this item in an old ... morealmost fallen down Phillips 66 Gas Station that has been out of business since the 70/80s. Please look at all the pictures we took so you are aware of all the problems this item has and you agree with the condition we stated but you also agree that you can find some use for it possibly restore it before you even purchase it. We take lots of pictures for you to see all the items flaws and we leave it up to you to determine if you can use this item in the condition it is in. The flaws that we see right off the top(might not include all the flaws if we miss something by accident) are lots of rust mainly on the bottom of the cabinet where there are some holes all the way through and the rust is crumbling( you could always cut off the bottom all togther and make a new bottom or no bottom at and put hangers on the bottom to hang other tools) A great deal of fading of the graphics, blemishes, discoloration, and superficial rust to the outside of the cabinet. It does have a really good straight body for its age, its drawers, its cabinet knob, and cool graphics on the inside of the cabinet. You just do not see these for sale at auctions or privately because those who find one keep it for their collection or for use in their stores to sell things out of. This is the“only” one we could find on the internet in the entire world that has porcelain pulls on the metal hinged caps with round hand-blown jars. Now here’s what makes this piece really special. It comes directly from a country store in Northeastern Pennsylvania that was closed in the early 1960’s. It was GOOD’S RICHLAND GENERAL STORE opened in 1903 by Earl Good who used this advertising candy jar display throughout its entire life in his store to sell candy and other things like peanuts and many other small things.
