This is a set of interlocking brass sign making stencils complete with diagrams and instructions from Jersey Central Power& Light Co( JCP&L) and New Jersey Power& Light Co( NJP&L) outlining their use on marking their electrical transmission towers. Each stencil piece measures 4" tall. The letters( all caps) and numbers are 2" tall and the punctuations and spacers are as shown. The instructions from the companies show a 5/22/62 date and provide a drawing of the transmission tower showing where the markings are to be placed. These pieces come in a metal box marked" WILLSON" and have a bristle brush. These were in a drawer in a old out builing at a estate sale. The drawer they were in got wet over time. The cardboard box fell apart. The letters are all fine but they do show paint from being used and stains from being in the wet drawer. A few 5 or 6 have been bent and straightened out. The ones I tried all slid together as they should tight but went to gether.
