This is a Pearl DLX Tom 13" diameter x 11" depth in Great Condition. Made with 100% birch. Serial# 253822. Finish is Dark Red. Comparable to Tama Superstar Cherry Wine color, with the DLX being a shade darker. I used this tom amongst a large set with Tama Superstars, the sound is pretty close. Structurally very good and solid, very good bearing edges. Hardware in good shape, it has Pearl Superhoops top and bottom. There are a few marks on the finish that can barely be seen in pics 5 and 6. There are 2 logo badges on the tom, the first 4 pics show 90 degree rotation to show 4 views, so pic 4 shows a different logo badge than pic 1. Tom mount works perfectly and holds securely. I purchased this piece from a shop on Beverly near Fairfax in the mid 90's. I don't remember the shop. It is gone now. The owner told me it was fron South America, I don't know the age but it is not new, probably from the early part of last century. The piece is made of walnut and other woods, posibbly birch? Glass is original and looks old. Has a couple of nicks, was used in my home for a long time, in storage for three years. Due to its age, I would use an Old Brass Style Lock to compliment this antique. It holds up to 100 bottles of fine French. Italian and Californian Wines. Yes. After storing and saitisfying it original owners for 53 years, it has been painted. Remember wine is stored in the basement and humidity has an effect on steel. The color it was discovered in is Rich Brass which is a more luxurious color than the original drab battle ship gray that it was originally painted. Personally. There’s lots and lots of variety, and nifty stuff too- so I hope you enjoy! WOW is this a pretty piece. What I have is a vintage. 1960s steel wire three wine bottle standing rack that has gorgeous steel painted flowers for decoration on the sides. The finish is cream in color, and the flowers POP in pastel shades of roses, blues, golds, greens and purple. It measures 15 1/2" tall to the top of the handle, 10" wide and 7" deep. Each of the three bottle rings is 3 3/4" diameter, and the piece weighs 3 1/2 lbs. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition with minor spots of wear to the finish, and I'm showing in photo 15 that one of the green ... moreleaves is missing its tip- it's small, minor and you really have to look to find it. This beautiful and charming stand holds 30 bottles of wine. It is crafted of hardwood with very nice construction(NO PARTICLE BOARD) and it is quite sturdy. There are 6 wine holder shelves(open in the center) of solid wood which is carved to hold a bottle. The front holders are designed for the neck of the bottles while the back shelves are carved with larger areas to accomodate the bottom of the wine bottles. The wine bottles rest slightly downward and there is a wooden back lip that keeps them from sliding out of the rack. Each of the 6 horizontal shelves holds 5 bottles of wine. We are bringing to you a wine rack built from 124 year old barn wood. Each piece was inspected for the perfect fit and togetherness of materials. The wine rack hangs from a two point contact of a metal loop hook and a predrilled hole. Screws for hanging are included. The top roof has 6 tapered holes for wine stoppers to be placed. There are four shelves for wine bottles and a shelf that is slotted out with tapered holes for two wine glasses to be placed. A great wine rack for any wine connoisseur. It has everything you would need when putting together an out-of-the-way wine rack on your wall. 1983 Wine Red Gretsch Jazz drum kit w/ 16 x 18 kick and 8 x 10 rack
This is a Gretsch Maple drum kit that I bought in 1983 from the famous. But now closed, Manny's Music Store on 48th Street in New York City. I don't know the exact name of the color, but it's a wine red color. This includes only 2 pcs. The sizes of the drums are: 8 X 10 Gretsch rack tom and 16 X 18 Gretsch Kick drum. One thing you can't buy is time with instruments. You'll get 30 years built into this kit. Which will become more vintage with more time! I originally bought the Gretsch kick and the rack tom only b/c they were so expensive. I also have a kick pedal raiser so that your pedal hits the center of the drum rather than too high. Since the kick drum is only 18" round. The gig bags are not great, but they work to protect the drums. The rack has a rockbag, the kick has a left-over soft kick bag that I had. I ... morehad a drum maker put new spurs on the kick drum b/c the original spurs were not that good. They didn't hold their position well and they didn't telescope very well. I tried to show the original spurs that are on the drum in the very last picture. The new spurs are mounted above them. You can't really see the old spurs when the kit is set up. If you go to one of the pictures, you can see the underside of the kick drum, which shows both the new spur and the old spur bracket beneath it. I don't actually have tho old spur stems. I don't know what I did with them after I had the new ones mounted. You can also see a bit of the red that has discolored a bit in one of the pictures. You can not see this discoloration when the kit is set up because it's underneath the drum. I have more rock and roll type heads on the kick and toms. The Kick has an Evans Emad. The other side has a nice coated Gretsch head though. I put a small mic hole in it, as you can see. Some people want the serial#s. So here they are: The rack tom is model# GM 4414 w/ serial# 40448.
