$29.95 Shipping Condition: Used Location: Yellow Springs, United States I am selling my Roland TR 707 Rhythm Composer. Drum machine. I bought it new somewhere around 1985. I used it in a professional studio with no problems ... moreuntil I closed my studio in 2001. Did a lot of click tracks with this, as well as actual rhythm tracks. The machine was in perfect working order when I packed it away after the studio closed. When I got it out to test it to sell here. I found out that the snare channel is now extremely loud and distorted and the individual snare volume slider has no effect on it. If you do not program a snare part in the pattern, the rest of the sounds are perfect. You can also insert a plug into the individual output jack for the snare. This will remove the snare sound from the overall output. The other modification that I had to make to this unit was where the power adapter plugged into the back of the machine. The jack went bad. So I simply removed the jack and soldered the wires from the power adapter right onto the circuit board. I have used it that way for most of the time I owned it without any problems. I do not believe that this had anything to do with the snare sound problem. I also just put 2 new AA batteries into the memory battery compartment on the back of the unit. Of course. There are the usual minor scratches, etc. But, it is in good condition overall. All LEDs and the display screen are fine and all parts are original.
