Oktava/Lomo/AKG Hybrid Tube Condenser Microphone Vintage parts. Recently restored This is a one of a kind microphone indeed. First the ingredients list: A LOMO capsule, an AKG transformer, an Oktava made C12 inspired headbasket. The capsule: The Lomo capsule is a 1" side to side. Edge terminated capsule which was essentially the Lomo made Eastern European version of an AKG capsule. The Transformer: The transformer is a vintage AKG custom rewound by AEG on the same core that is used for the legendary AKG T14 transformer. The tube: The tube is a 6B6. The modern version of the 701, a low noise, low mu triode especially designed for microphone use. The headbasket: The headbasket is from an Oktava MD-86. It was added to this microphone because of it's similarities to the AKG C12 in size and grill material. The one difference is the front ... moreof the basket has a devider in the center. This has an improved effect on the microphone for vocals the results of which have been well known for many years in studio circles as the"pencil trick. Hello. And thanks for looking at my posting. If you are into Airsoft. Or collecting, then you know that this is the Valhalla, or the top weapon to collect. This is an ORIGINAL M3A1 Hudson Gas Blowback"Grease Gun" from the 1980's. This is where the hobby of airsoft all began. These weapons are rare. And hard to find in this good of a condition. It appears not to have been fired when I found it buried in someone's garage/estate sale. It was still in the original box with original instructions(warning; most of the instructions are in Japanesse) I could, in good conscience, not sell it until I knew it worked, so I loaded it with gas, fired off one whole magazine(it worked) and put it back. This is a very rare piece of Airsoft history. And even I was amazed at the excellent condition it is in.
