Unless you actually plan on working in the derrick of a drilling rig you will never need the missing part. This belt is the top of the industry in safety belts designed for extreme conditions. I used this belt once for a project in 2001. Its been in storage for over a decade. I did very stupid things sixty feet in the air wearing this belt and never felt like I was in danger- but keep in mind I had professional grade lanyards and cables in a very controlled environment. Belt has two D-rings at end of main belt- this is where hook will go if being hoisted. The thick yellow belt acts like a swing. There is also a d-ring in the middle of lower back attached to main belt. This is where safety lanyard can be hooked if in a stationary position. DBI sala dual nano lok fall protection SRL aluminum hooks slightly used
I bought these to use on my last scaffold job but was not a fan of them. I would rather use the shockwave 2s. They have some scuffs and stains, you'll get that working at a refinery. But over all they were only used for about a month. I will take more photos of them for intetested parties, or a video of them being pulled out and retracting. I have two friends that bought these as well and they might sell theirs depending on how this goes for me. So if you would be interested in more than one let me know before this ends.

The metal on both the harness and lanyard shows oxidation. The polyester/nylon fabric on the lanyard is pleated and stained. But still pretty sturdy. On the plastic strap someone has welded a little wire attachment through the fabric around the plastic to hold it in place, but this can be removed if needed.
