Nice post war MG42 8mm barrel. That is identicle to WWII German versions minus the inspection markings. This had 3 holes drilled into the bottom side to deactivate it. Most of these from parts kits are being deactivated this way. Has good markings on it. Bluing is 75/85% and this would look great to fill out a MG42 barrel carrier with. It measures 42 cm. at the hoods and 44.5 cm. at the bar ends(a slight flare) measurements are center to center. I was not able to find the exact spec's- but these are a shallow drop bar. See the pictures- my estimate is a drop of approximately 110- 120 mm depending on where you measure. Reach- allowing for bar thickness is around 80 mm.
