They are full size uniform wings measuring a hair over 2 3/4 inches. They have the 90° pin back attachment which works fine. The pin has a few slight bends. You are bidding on 3 photographs taken sometime during WW2 at the Las Vegas Gunnery School. The photos are very interesting and no research has been done on them. It appears that the Colonel was a pilot in WW1 and now wears the Command Pilot's wing. The Lt. Col. is wearing the Senior Pilots wing. The are both drinking Coca Cola under the unit insignia. In the third photo are Army Air Force personnel in fatigues holding shot guns and wearing helmet liners with an insignia. The insignia on the helmet does not match the School insignia but does say"GUNNERY" under it. The photos are excellent quality with good focus. Sorry about the glare on them. 4.75 X 4 inches. Two Unknown Mfctrs. Two Odd Old Lures I think that I have heard the lure with the clear side wings referred to as a Travel Lure or something like that. But I'm not familiar with the maker. It is 3 1/4" long w/o the hook. It has a fish-shape from the side. With a single hook embedded in the fish-tail. It has lead weight inside the body with red& yellow tinting. The line tie is on the back. The silver minnow lure also has a line tie(3 holer) on the back, and a spoonbill style lip. It also has a small fishtail and a dorsal fin. It measures 3 1/4" long and it's fairly heavy, so I imagine it has some lead inside too. It's in good condition and the other bait is in VG condition. 3 Vintage Spun Cotton Batting Easter Chick Peep Made in Japan RARE WINGS
Here are three old spun cotton Easter chickens. They have wire legs and feet. The largest chick has a very unusual feature: she has black chenille wings. These are clearly original. A staple in her side has her paper Japan label. Her big yellow beak and(only) one eye look to be made of some natural material. She has a yellow strip on the top of her head; probably s baby chicken comb. She measures about 3 ¾” tall. The medium sized chick is about 2 ¼” He has a red comb and wattle and only one natural-material eye: there is a dark hole where the other was and he has no beak. He has a few remains of real chicken feathers on one wing area and a dark behind where some probably were. The smallest chick is about 2” She is cute and has her beak and both eyes. WW2 Lot of 3 USAAF uniform bullion patches - AAF, Pilot's wings, 15th Air Force
This is a lot of 3 U.S. Army Air Force/ Corps theater-made bullion patches. The lot consists of an Army Air Force bullion patch. A pilot's wings bullion patch, and a 15th Air Force bullion patch. The Army Air Force patch is 3" in diameter. The pilot's wings patch is 3" long. The 15th Air Force patch is 2.5" in diameter. These 3 patches were removed from a uniform. All 3 patches do not glow under a black light. They are all in very good condition. The only condition issue is on the 15th Air Force patch the bullion thread is starting to separate from the patch around the red dot. This is a nice set of U.S. Army Air Force bullion insignia.
