It was made by the company that also built trolley poles and had won multiple awards for their design. The blades measure 12" long 2 1/2" wide and the cutout arm with wood handle is 9" long. It is mounted on a heavy insulated black board that measures 25" long 6" wide and 1" thick. I have installed 2 fuses that are not original to the switch. You could use a little dark shoe polish to age the fuses. It comes with 2" spacers for mounting the switch on the wall. It weighs 15 lbs. Original Early Ford Model T Car Truck Coil Box Ignition Switch Hit Miss Engine
This is a pretty nice original Ford Model T ignition coil box. This is the earlier style with the key switch on it. It is in good condition for being about 100 years old. It is missing the cover and one porcelain insulator which are available from the hobby suppliers. The wood back has separated a bit but is still very usable. All of the coil contacts are present inside the box. The switch housing is in remarkable condition with only two slight cracks in the bottom of it. I believe it would work fine just the way it is. The box retains most of it's original paint and would look great on a survivor car! These original coil boxes are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss your chance on this one. The pictures tell the story. You are bidding on a Large Vintage Albert& J M Anderson Trolley Street Car Electric Fused Disconnect Switch. The switch is from the early 1900s. It was made by the company that also built trolley poles and had won multiple awards for their design. The blades measure 17 1/2” long 3 1/2” wide and the cutout arm with wood handle is 13” long. It is mounted on a very heavy insulated black board that measures 25” long 6" wide and 1” thick. I have installed 2 fuses that are not original to the switch. You could use a little dark shoe polish to age the fuses. It comes with 2” spacers for mounting the switch on the wall. It weighs 23 lbs. I'm not sure of the manufacturer. But I would guess Remy. The back metal cylindrical piece measures approximately 2 3/4" across in diameter. Stamped on the back of the brown bakelite cap is: DB SB C. Application: I'm not sure of the exact application. Please do your own research. Condition: This looks to be in good condition. The key turns smoothly in the lock. And locks the handle in place nicely when turned to the locked position. When turned to the open position the handle turns smoothly to all positions. The handle is nice and solid with some surface finish loss. It moves back and forth smoothly. The face plate and mounting plate have some surface finish ... moreloss. But the surface is nice and smooth with no breaks or cracks. The raised print on the bottom is still crisp. The bakelite cap on the back looks very good. It's nice and smooth. I don't see any cracks. But there are a few tiny chips/ dings. Everything looks to be here. But this has not been tested, so is sold as is. Please take a look at the pictures provided. Here's an industrial type momentary on/start switch with a twist toggle handle that's being sold as is. It's untested by me. But the person I got it from said it was used as a starter switch in a hot rod. The handle moves about 30 degrees to the left with a loud click for it's contact point without locking in to position, and springs back heavily on its own when released. As photo 5 shows, all the threaded parts are in good condition. I am selling this mixed a lot of HO train kits for a friend. I don't have much knowledge about the trains so please refer to the description and if I've omitted any information please post a question. Most of these items come in boxes the boxes are in moderate condition with some sides ripped off and rubbing of the edges Included is a balsa wood train kit primarily assembled it reads Southern Belle on the boxcar the boxes marked Varney model railway kits. There are two boxes of Atlas switch kits. Some appears to be assembled. There are two boxes of Walthers models, these boxes contain parts instructions decals mainly parts. There are six boxes of Strom Becker freight cars that are cylindrical, these are all pArtially assembled and measure approximately 5" long. There are three Strombecker kits that are not assembled, I ASSUME ... moreall of the parts are there, but cannot be certain. There is a JC models HO passenger kit for a 60' New York City baggage car, this kit is not assembled. there is a Strombecker model box that is filled with decals and instructions. There are seven box cars in various stages assembly, these boxcars measure about 5 inches long. 1965 Mattel Switch N Go - Blue GT Car Battery Operated Racer - All Original
Vintage 1965 Mattel Switch N Go- Blue GT Car Battery Operated Racer- rear spring-loaded switch is intact and has good spring action. It likes to pop up easily, clip is intact but can be hard to get it to stay- note a small hairline and one missing screw in the bumper- all wheels intact including the center guide-wheel- tires have some mild melting with age and axles are a bit loose- I tested the unit out with a D battery and the motor starts up and runs- needs a little cleaning after years of storage but should clean up into a sharp looking ride- All Original from a one-owner collection- I've taken photos to give a good view, Please see photos for condition and detail- Thanks for looking, and Have fun folks!
