A group of four 4" square prism tiles in four different patterns. DEW DROP and PANEL patterns were produced by American 3-Way Prism Company of La Porte. Indiana who incorporated Luxfer in the 1920's. TORCH pattern was produced by Jupiter Prism Company of Davenport, Indiana. PLAIN was produced by Condie-Neal Glass Company of ST Louis. Offered for sale is this exquisite antique Chinese framed carved wood and bone panel. It was probably from a cabinet. The piece depict raised carved wood and bone birds, butterflies and flowers. The frame measures 12-1/8" x 5-3/8" x 3/8"thickness and the inside panel is 10-5/8" x 3-3/4" It is heavy for its size, it weighs 11.6 oz(329 gm) The carved inlaid wood seems boxwood.Don't know what kind of wood to made of the frame and inside panel, both have beautiful grain. The white carving seems like bone or other material. The piece is in excellent condition except one bird's beak missing, and the frame have been re-glued, please see picture#10, but nothing wrong on front. Up for no reserve auction is a set of 3 Antique slag glass panel lamp shades. The round shade has no cracked panels. It is approximately 9.5" tall. 8" diameter at the top and 3.25" at the bottom fitter. The square overlay shade with flowers has 4 panels which are all in good condition. It looks like 2 were replaced at some time. It measures 7" tall, 6" across the top and 5.25" across the bottom. The tall square shade is guaranteed to be Bradley& Hubbard. It is signed on one of the bottom clips holding the glass"Pat'd Oct 20 08" It has 4 amber panels and 4 green panels. My guess is that the glass was replaced in this. The two panels(right and left) are blank on the inside. you could easily embroider another Crinoline Lady in each panel- OR- to really make this spectacular, do some silk ribbon embroidery. Gorgeous Hand worked Needlepoint French Antique Tapestry three section folding screen. This is unbelievable having stunning hand worked needlepoint in multi colours to match just about anything in your room. The workmanship is time consuming in addition to the high quality on each panel. This is 3 French Antique Panels as shown and each is filled with colorful hand work having soft antique Velvet fabric on base of each panel. Although the antique French velvet is tattered and torn it remains all original as found and if you prefer you could easily add on one of those iron on-sticky fabric to keep the tears together as I have added merely tape just for now. Otherwise one could easily add another fabric over this or better ... moreyet add some antique motifs right in front on top of the tears. However. Its the upper which is rare and quality in the Time consuming needlepoint workmanship, the designing of this quality antique, and the massive work in which each panel has. They are each done on wood as shown with no hinges-which is easy again to add on your own. These can be used alone as well if you prefer not to use as a panel screen. each could be used as a door. or entrance way. or panels on the wall. The wood surrounding each panel has many mends to them which again is only natural due to age. There is also weakness in them. but when they are all together and with your hinges- they will remain standing when they are together. Please see the wood at backside in my photos. Another idea would be to merely cut the bottoms off and use only the upper for wall panels. As you can see there are three engraved panels of engraved symbols, the center most panels being a series of engraved chevrons(V” one fitting inside the next. The center most panel is flanked on both sides by a panel of diagonal hash marks. It’s possible that there is some significance to the pattern, but it is more likely that it was simply a pleasing geometric design which was popular to the era and region. Dots, hash-marks, V” and“X” symbols were often used as design elements with no special significance, and their appearance is oftentimes entirely mundane and ordinary. Regardless. The ring is a wonderful, well-preserved piece of ancient Roman jewelry. It has a beautiful and rich tone, a dark, almost chocolate hue very characteristic of ancient bronze, very handsome. Penn Antique Restoration. 30.5"x89" Antique Arched Door w/4 Raised Panels(3" THICK! Grand. Antique, pocket door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid, old pine and is painted white one side and finished on the other. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. The door has 5. Raised, ... morehorizontal panels with lovely, stepped molding contouring the inner edges of each panel. Quirks& Considerations: The previous owner added hinges and a rim lock. And used the door as a standard, swinging door for one of the apartments in his building. We could plug the holes and add the missing piece of edge molding where the rim lock was housed- email us for a quote. Hardware: Although the photos show some hardware installed; the door doesn't come equipped with any hardware. We don't have any track hardware. The door is made of solid Douglas fir, has 1 wavy glass lite and 3 raised panels. The glass lite installed is Plexi glass. Unfortunately. We don't have any old glass this size, however, we could order a new glass lite(i.e. beveled, tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install it- email us for a quote. Hardware: The door is currently not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood.see"Modification" below. Condition: On the exterior. The rail directly below the glass ... moreis cracked. There is a small crack in the lock housing. The edge of the lock housing is chipped. The bottom of the hinge stile is missing a strip of wood. There is a crack in the edge of the hinge stile. Some molding is cracked. On the interior, the strip of wood on the top of the door is chipped. There is a small chip in the lock housing. Otherwise. This door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Quirks& Considerations: The height of the door was unevenly cut by 1/8" at some point. Most likely to accommodate for a warped floor or settling foundation. There is a strip of added to the top of the door that adds approx. 1/4" There are gaps in the edges of both the lock and hinge stiles. Most likely to accommodate for insulation.
