This is a Ridgid BC-6A Bench Chain Vise. It is used but in good condition. Chain works freely as do all other moving parts. This has been repainted as shown in pictures. Also I want you to be aware of the chain guide slot as shown in the picture. I was worn so that the chain bolt could spin in the slot so I added a steel shim piece in the slot to prevent the chain bolt from spinning. It works great now but wanted you aware of this as I try to describe all my listings as accurately as possible.

What little use it did get included my contractor gluing PVC pipe with it which stained it with PVC glue. I therefore removed the glue-stains as well as possible. Sanded down the top& legs of the Tristand and painted it. The sanding removed most scratches on the legs. However, scratch-indentations are visible if you look closely. Other than that. I don’t know too much about this device. But the action on the chain vise portion seems to work fine, and overall the unit seems to be in pretty good used condition. The stand shows some moderate wear from use. Including: There are scuffs. Scratches, minor dings to the stand, plus some chips to the painted portions. There is some surface rust here and there. With some a bit heavier on the feet. There is some caked-on grease and residue here and there on the tool-There are several minor“gouges” from a grinding tool visible on several areas of the work surface. For sale is a Ridgid 460 Pipe vise. This tool is in great shape overall but does have its flaws. The top plate has a few marks on it and some paint as well. The chain folds perfectly but has slight surface rust on it. The stand has great legs and everything turns as it should. It is a little tough to fold the tool tray but it does work well.
