These FCS fins are the Mark Richards MR TFX fin set. Yes a twin fin set with the small trailer centre fin so a thruster 3 fin set up if needed. The rear centre fin is unused though both side fins are used. The side fins have the usual grub screw marks at the tabs and very minor marks as can be seen on the close up photo's. The left fin has a small mark that is pointed out by my finger in the close up photo 35 mm's up from the base, while the right fin has the close up photo of the tip which has very minor scratches. The set is laminated fiberglass not plastic or light weight core but solid fiberglass and resin so are very strong compared to any other material construction that FCS make including the very fragile Carbon Lite fins. Laminated translucent blue with a solid white layer, looks very 70's. The fins weigh 255 grams and ... moreare 143 mm's deep with a 128 mm's base, with rear centre fin being 95 mm's deep& 92 mm base. The side fins are HUGE and the rear fin tiny. This is to give the feeling of a twin fin but with the small rear fin in place calms down the overly loose feeling and the vagueness to a pure twin fin set up. I found with just the side fins in the board would slide in the tail at the end of a turn which put strain on my back foot/ knee. I used a larger plastic fcs fin in the rear which flexed and still gave the feeling of the twin without that slide or over extension to the cut back. Vintage Herman Miller Eames Upholstered Fiberglass Shell Chair Swivel Casters
For auction is one vintage Herman Miller Eames shell arm chair upholstered in its original orange. Wool-blend fabric. The fiberglass shell is white and has the swivel base with casters(fixed height, non-tilt) It is in excellent condition overall, but the fabric has"puckered" along the lower seam where it's separated from the foam padding. There are some very, very faint small stains on the seat(which I have provided a close-up of) though as you can see from the photos, they are hardly noticeable overall. There are also some slight indentations in the armrests(pictured) I have had the upholstery professionally cleaned, so it most likely will not clean up any better than what you see here. The shell, which has been thoroughly cleaned and buffed, is in perfect shape. The hard black rubber edge is also in great shape and has only ... morelight scratches near the arms. The aluminum base has been polished, but has a few spots of dark oxidation common to these bases(the most obvious of which I've photographed) The casters have all been cleaned& re-lubricated and roll smoothly. The guides are straight and the wraps are tight. The cork is also in excellent condition. The handle is in very good condition with a few light scratches as seen in the pictures. The rod is marked as 8' but it measures 8'6" The butt section and tip section are a perfect match and they fit together perfectly. It is possible that there was a second. I have researched th ese hard-to-find professional drums on the conga forums and learned that they were introduced in the early seventies to compete with LP and Gon Bops congas from that era. Fantastic. Fantastic sound. Made in Califor nia. I do not know w hen King Congas went ou t o f busines s but have heard th at very few were made. This is a very lightweight drum- under twenty pounds. Some people collect these. But it makes an outstanding player's drum. Some possible applications: A great soloists' axe for rumberos. Projects better and sounds as good as a vintage wood drum. Well. Unfortunately I hadn't found t hese items when I sold the ancient"David White" transit scope last year on eBay. I tried to find them but they had been stored apart from the scope. I believe that my father had picked them up as a set many years ago. However. I can't find the identification stamps or labels on either item. I AM sure that the David White transit mounted onto the tripod because I saw that myself. I think we had dated the transit at about 50 or 60 years old so that's my guess on these items. I know very little about surveying and equipment so the pictures will replace any more description I might have. Feel free to ask me any questions tho. The tripod legs are 5ft tall and composed of 2 steel. Or maybe heavy aluminum. Hollow bars. Vintage Owens Corning Fiberglass work lunch box with The Pink Panther in front eating a sandwich with glass of pop. Its from 1982 very retro. Lunch box says cool it in front. Colors on it are white. Red, pink. Measurements of lunch box are 13 X 6 1/4 inches. Lunch box is made of some type of fabric and plastic inside. Approx. 90-95% rare"green" 1 3/4" Harnell fish decal intact with rubs, scrapes and scratches in surface paint on blank, ferrules, and George Hine, Santa Monica, CA down-locking aluminum reel seat. Harnell rods were manufactured in Venice, CA from 1945 to the 1970's. and were better known for their saltwater boat rods which were considered top-of-the-line for their era. Harnell fly rods are not as numerous and ones with the green decal are coveted due to their scarcity.
