We purchased this oven new in january 2010 for 60.000 from ls industries. We currently use the oven to cure aluminum wheels or rims for automotive applications. The oven has performed flawlessly for us over the past 2.5 years. This oven is great because you can adjust the temperature and speed of the conveyor as necessary. The temperature is fully adjustable from 75 degrees all the way up to ... more450 degrees with a high temp limit of 540 degrees. The flexibility of this oven is great we would cure freshly painted aluminum wheels at 200 degrees in 17 minutes with a constant flow and we would be mounting the tires 5 minutes later with no problems. We can also turn the oven up to 400 degrees in order to powdercoat wheels for 25 minutes and since it is a direct fired burner with multiple fans for flow inside the wheel or part would heat up quickly to cure. You can put pretty much anything that will fit inside to either paint or powdercoat there are multiple uses for this oven. The only change we made to the oven is the purge timer which we changed from 12 minutes to 30 second so the startup is much quicker. the only reason we are selling the oven is because we purchased a larger one to keep up with our demand. We have succefully refinished over 250 wheels in a 8 hr shift using this oven. most going through multiple times for base and clearcoats. For sale is a large gas industrial oven. It measures externally 14'10" long 7'8" wide 8'4" tall. Internal working dimensions: 5' wide x 6' tall x 14' long. It was purchased from an operating powder coating company in MA. It was not in use at the time of purchase but was set up at an old location where it was fully operational. All components appear to be intact. And I've had an oven building company quote between $1000-1500 to set up the oven. The oven is sitting unused and partially disassembled but all major components are included. The frame sits untouched. The 2 huge circulation fans. 1 exhaust fan, control box, gas train and regulators, exhaust ducting have been taken off oven shell but everything is included. The floor consists of 2 tracks(for roll-in racks) and 6 insulated panels which are ... moreincluded. The floor can be used, or the oven can be sat right on the concrete floor and used. I purchased this oven with the expectation of utilizing it at a new facility. But decided that I wished to head in another direction so rather than leave it sitting around for eventual use it is now up for sale. I believe that the oven was originally used for heat treating or some other very high temperature application. It was built in the late 70's and is very well built. It has double doors the front and back. The oven currently sits on a large trailer in North Branford. And can be easily moved, or unloaded and loaded onto your trailer/ rigger's trailer. There is a possibility of local delivery which will be negotiated on an individual basis. The oven is sitting on a custom made cradle comprised of welded steel I-beams, and is sold with the cradle to facilitate moving.
