This came from an ACE hardware auction. It was used up until they closed. I got it and took it home and took it apart to clean. I took each canister apart and cleaned it. This was a very long drawn out process. I kept changing the water and letting the parts soak. I continued to do so until I saw no color come out. i was able to look inside the piston chamber and see there was no color left inside. You can see pictures of all the parts I removed to clean. There may be a spot here or there on outside of canisters I did not get off. The lids did not come real clean but i did my best. the white impellers also have a light tint of staining but are still in great condition. The impeller blades are very sharp for being plastic. I have lots of cuts to remember them by. I put this all back together and it is all in very good condition. I am missing ... morea lid. It blew off on my way home from auction. the stand I cleaned the best I could. It has some paint spots and stains on it. the motor runs nice and smooth. All the O rings looked good. I took picture of it taken apart and put back together. I will take the canisters off and box them on the pallet with the stand for shipping. Local pickup is free. Up for your consideration is a Gast pneumatic(air powered) paint mixer. I believe it is meant to be used with a pressure pot sprayer. But it's also a perfect size to fit in a five gallon bucket. I put some air on it. And it spins, and the variable speed control works just fine, too. It appears to have been well maintained as it doesn't have gobs of paint caked on, and it's not beat up. red devil 5400 Mixes quarts or gallons. i plugged in and this thing jumped like crazy(lots of power in it. both cranks work smoothly. each crank has 2 handles on them. one is missing one of the handles but has the other so it still functions fine, the plastic outer case is in ruff shape. cracked and missing around the bottom edge corners. however the motor is very strong. it has a metal plate on bottom with 4 holes in corner to bolt down. it must be secured before turning on! i am also listing locally so i reserve the right to cancel.
