The mixer will easily fit into a metal drum with a bung opening of 1 3/4" The overall length is 40" And the blades expand by an centrifugal force to a diameter of 10" The 40" shaft is 1/2' diameter with the chuck end turned down to accomodate a 3/8" chuck.
