He was stationed at Fort Belvoir, VA, and later at Fort Lewis, WA, where I believe he taught Civil Engineering. After his death in 1998. I found these photos in a file cabinet, and have had these in my possesion since then. There were over 30 folders, with typically 8 photos in each(8"x10" for a total of over 200 photos. Also contained in the file folders were sheets with infomation to be placed on a bulletin board, along with each picture, for use as what appears to be a teaching aid. I assume these were given to my father afterwards, and he continued to keep them. Many of these pictures were taken by the Army Siginal Corp. And were identified on the back, giving permission to use ... morethem, as long as they were identified as such. Also, many of the pictures were identified as to where and when they were taken. Some are pictures of the troops during battle, but many are picures of what was involved in the reconstruction of Europe during the war. I hope you enjoy looking at these historical photos. Here are two Schaublin riser blocks front and rear and two single screw height adjustable tool posts. The fixture shown is one I built to hold a precision hardened and ground collet holder which accepts Levin"D" type collets. I used it on my Schaublin cutoff slide to slot very small center pins and it worked perfectly. Please look closely at the photos you will see these items have been gently used. There is a 1/8 Levin collet in very good condition and a expanding collet stop included. Please note I only accept PayPal as payment and I only sell in the USA. One of them has a whole chunk gone, shown in picture#4. Otherwise, diameter is about 1 1/4" wide.
