Here is a 1883 chestnut pump organ made by Wilcox& White. ... moreThese one's are rare and not many left in the world. It does work but will need new bellows and some TLC. It is all original and will be kept that way. I was wanting to refinish it but that takes all the value out so I will be leaving it the way I found it. These pump organs were made by the Wilcox& white company here in the USA between 1887 and 1910 and used in brothels and saloons before radio and televisions. Later used in churches and parlors. This one is numbered and tagged inside with it's Mgr. number and dated inside at March 27. 1883. That's 120 years old next month! It has a few chips in the wood here and there and a couple keys have the ends chipped but no major cracks or pieces missing. Just check out the pictures.I had a pro in the field of these older style organs check it out and was told this was a gem that could be fixed to play right in no time and at a low price. I just don't want to do much work on it and take any value out of it since it is so old. Restored to the original condition this will be valued at way way more than the asking price. This is a super vintage antique and a super neat piece to have even if it sits the way it is forever. It's just a real piece of Americana history of the way our mountains were built. March TE-7S-MD Stainless Pump 1 HP, single phase
This pump was working just fine till I let it run dry then. Bammo, I melted the kynar impeller and broke the ceramic shaft. I was so disheartened I couldn't part with it for a while but now, it's just taking up space. Somebody might want it. It needs a new impeller, shaft and thrust bearing. It's not hard to fix but I don't use it anymore and just want to get rid of it. The stainless housing, mag drive and motor are just fine, just needs the impeller, shaft and thrust bearing(washer)
