Nice old pickaroon out of a Pacific Northwest Estate. These were commonly used in the area here in the sawmills. The head is not marked- measures prox. 7 3/8" from edge to bill hook. Head is not all rusty. Does have pitting, retains its natural patina. Has a hardwood handle that does have some bumps and bruises as well as shows signs of weather. Fairly good sized chip out of the wood towards the head. Still sturdy. Measures prox. 27 5/8" total from head top to end of handle. Does need a shim put in handle top as head is somewhat loose. Firewood Hauler Trailer for Garden Tractor
Nice heavy duty trailer I made from a military ground heater trailer. I used it for hauling split firewood from the wood shed to the house. I parked it on the patio as a supply rack for my wood stove. The bows on each end support a tarp to keep the wood dry. The pintle ring towing tongue swings down as a leg when parked and can be adjusted for your hitch height for level towing. Also comes with an extended handle(not shown) for moving it around by hand easily. Tires and tubes are nearly new. The axle has leaf springs but when fully loaded with heavy hardwood it will settle down onto blocks I added to carry the load.
