Up for bid is a very gently used NIKE+ SPORTWATCH GPS watch. It's a really hot watch. I get compliments on it ALL the time. The color combo is a satin black exterior, and bright blue on the inside on the wrist band. The GPS is powered by TomTom, and in my experience with other GPS watches, is very reliable. The time display is a large"two numbers-over two numbers" style- really cool, along the side of the display is the date(see picture) When you're in running mode, you can activate the GPS, or connect it to a Nike Foot Pod(not included) or both. The poster has some minor cosmetic flaws, in the form of edgewear and a little soiling. bit its image area is in attractive condition. It is crisscrossed with two old fold lines, as originally issued, and the paper has a little weakness at its center. The reverse side is blank, and has some soiling plus two old short tape repairs. These Illustrated Current News posters were published 3 times a week. They were folded into quarters when they were mailed to subscribers. Which were typically stores or newsstands which displayed them for viewing by their customers. For Sale a used pair of Scott Anthrocite 2010 SPD compatible MTB Shoes. This pair was only used once by me. Nothing is wrong with the shoes. I just dont use them. I am throwing in a set of Wellgo M3 pedals with the pair. The"SPD" clips are already mounted on the shoes. Adjust to your liking and away you go. they are a size 42 which translates to 8-8.5 size. Up for sale is a Castelli Mortirolo Due softshell jacket. I am the original owner. I used it a few times and loved it. But I've lost some weight and now wear a different size. They've used Gore Windstopper fabric on the front and the back is breathable- all in a water-resistant package. You can read. Or in. It can be worn with an ultralight base layer down to about 45-50F; if you go a bit heavier with the layering it is great to about 30F. It is Italian design. So while it is"XL" it is a more slender fit, particularly if you wear some layers underneath. Included is: The Castelli Mortirolo Due jacket itself. Mined by the Lehigh Coal& Navigation Company, whose mining operations were mostly in Pennsylvania’s southern anthracite field(Panther Valley area- Tamaqua, Coaldale, Lansford, Nesquehoning, Summit Hill, Mauch Chunk/ Jim Thorpe) Porcelain on metal, with porcelain on both sides. Three-color design. Cobalt blue background with Lehigh Coal& Navigation’s red and white bullseye herald in center. Four mounting holes. No manufacturer’s name. Condition: Fair condition. With all corners and several other areas along perimeter showing heavy rust and loss of porcelain. Bullseye herald is only affected at the nine o’clock position. Surface showing thin scratches. Isinger Coal Co. was founded in 1917 according to my online research. This paper is not dated. However, based on the truck and phone illustrations, I estimate it was made as advertising right around the time it was founded into the 1920's, especially because people used these type of paper blotters years ago. I don't know when the company went out of business but did find this info online. William Frederick Isinger Jr. was born in 1887 at New Centerville. Tredyffrin Township. In 1915 ... moreand 1916, William ran the Great Valley Mill. In 1917 he wed Ethel Mae Davis whose family lived on the property directly west of Diamond Rock Octagonal School. He was 29, and she 24. Her mother's maiden name was Kirkner. William and Ethel made their home at 106 Circular Avenue, Paoli. That same year, 1917, the Isinger Coal business was established on North Valley Road, Paoli and along the Chester Valley Railroad. During the early years, horses were used to haul the coal. It was a long, hard pull for them coming up North Valley Road, and the farrier had to keep their hooves very sharp to keep them from slipping. Shortly after William Isinger started his coal business, people began asking him to haul away their trash. Many a plant headed for oblivion in the dump was saved by him and used to make a rock garden of beauty on the Chester Valley Railroad bank at North Valley Road. In those days, when a carload of coal was ordered, there were only four to six tons in a car. Today the cars hold around 75 tons. It is a souvenir booklet from the Great Anthracite Coal Mine. It was located near the South Entrance opposite Intramural Station No. 13. This 12 page booklet illustrates what the Pennsylvani anthracite mines were like back at the turn of the last century. The booklet has some creases that appear to be original to the booklet. Also. The Anthracite Coal Strike began September 1, 1925. It involved 158,000 workers. The area affected were 10 counties in Pennsylvania covering 500 square miles, practically the only commercial anthracite section in the United States. 8,000 Maintenance men remained on duty to preserve property. Daily loss of wages, $1,150,000 and the loss of daily production was 266,000 tons. The cause of suspension was the expiration of a two year contract, August 31, 1925 and failure to reach new agreement. The demands of the miners were: 10% increase in tonnage rates, $1 a day additional for day men, check-off; equalization of day rates, two year contract. Reply of operator- would ot consider demands that increased cost of mining and suggest arbitration which started on December 29 and ended on Black Tuesday, January 12, 1926. If you wonder what the situation of our fellow miners and workers were then, you must read this comprehensive and accurate report of the trying times of men trying to achieve a fair working day and satisfactory pay. This was designed to be used as part of a high-end Loewe home theater system in conjunction with Loewe Concertos surround sound and Loewe Certos DVD player. The stand will come with brackets(with original attachment screws) for mounting atop a 32" Articos TV. The Articos TV pictured in the second picture is not included in this auction and is listed in a separate auction.
