I bought this wood processor new in 9/2011 from Blockbuster. The reason for selling. Is that I am changing direction in my business. STIHL 028 AV Super Chainsaw This saw is wonderful for firewood cutting around home. Farm, or ranch. I preferred it for the firewood we cut on our ranch. Powerful, yet not real heavy which is nice. Has not been used for over a year, been sitting in our shop with the other 4 saws we are selling. Just needs yearly service, cleaning, sharpen, and tune up and it's ready to go to work for you. Being sold as-is since I am not taking it to the local Stihl dealer as usual for service, will leave that to new owner who will probably prefer to do that. We are retiring soon and moving to a live-aboard boat in the West Indies so the time has come ot sell 90% of everything we have. So. This saw was just serviced by a professional. It still has the tags on it. He said it runs great! new carb kit) The chainbrake seems to work well. The bar and chain are sharp and ready to cut. My only concern is the saw's oiler. The tank was gooped up and it might need a new one. I do not work on saws and have put about $300 into it all together. I think this saw will out cut my friends ms290. I am sad to see it go but do not have the time to fix it. I hope it goes to someone who likes high quality German saws. The saw is used and has been checked by a pro so it is sold as is. It uses 40:1 fuel mix. Thanks for looking!
