The solid one piece handle is heavily constructed of solid stainless steel, is marked: 2490-94 AW1193B, and has a 3-1/4 inch raised checkered surface. It comes with 3 new old stock tips which look to be made of a special carbide steel. Each tip is easily installed and removed by just pulling them out of the hole in the end of the handle.
